What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Conduct innovative research to advance the state of the art in quantum computing
Mentor and collaborate with interns, providing scientific guidance and academic support
Publish research findings in leading computer architecture and physics venues
Present research progress and results during team meetings and technical forums
Collaborate with staff scientists to expand and strengthen the quantum ecosystem
What is Required (Qualifications)
PhD obtained within the past five years or within the next 8 months from an accredited college or university
Strong background in quantum error correction, algorithms, and circuit optimization
Experience with near-term quantum hardware
Familiarity with machine learning applications in quantum computing
Proficiency in Python and quantum software frameworks
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Knowledge of emerging quantum technologies such as neutral atom systems or erasure qubits
Experience with benchmarking, verification, and resource estimation for NISQ and FTQC platforms
Strong publication record and ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams
