Assistant Account Manager – Commercial Lines (Bilingual) Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Assistant Account Manager – Commercial Lines (Bilingual) for a respected and established client in the insurance industry. The Assistant Account Manager will oversee a diverse book of business, ensuring superior client service, retention, and account growth. This position plays a key role in managing relationships with clients, producers, and carriers while providing expert guidance on coverage, risk management, and policy placement.

Base pay range: $75,000.00/yr – $100,000.00/yr

Location: Houston, TX

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, providing comprehensive account management and policy support.

Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the renewal process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and client satisfaction.

Manage client service requests, including coverage inquiries, billing issues, and claims coordination.

Process and maintain accurate documentation for certificates, endorsements, auto ID cards, and binders.

Analyze policy terms and coverages to identify potential gaps and recommend appropriate solutions.

Prepare and present professional insurance proposals and renewal packages.

Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to negotiate competitive terms and ensure optimal coverage placements.

Review contracts to confirm compliance with insurance requirements.

Identify opportunities to expand accounts through additional lines of coverage or services.

Maintain client records and correspondence in the agency management system in accordance with internal standards.

Stay informed on insurance market trends, carrier products, and regulatory changes.

Provide mentorship or backup support to teammates as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial insurance account management or client service.

Active Property & Casualty Producer License required.

High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Strong technical understanding of commercial Property & Casualty coverages, forms, and policies.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Applied Epic or similar agency management systems preferred.

Demonstrated experience in policy analysis, placement, and renewal negotiation.

Solid understanding of carrier underwriting guidelines and market practices.

Professional insurance designations such as CIC, CPCU, AU, or AINS preferred.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
