Translator Interpreter (Spanish) - 8 hrs/day (ELS/PC#251210) Position Summary:

Provides oral and written translations from the English language to and from a designated foreign language and from and to the English language. Prepares and distributes written translations for publications, forms, announcements, and instructions.

$22.97 - $30.40 per hour in 9 annual steps. Salary placement is based on experience.

English Learners Services Department

Hours:

8 hours/day; 5 days/week

Benefits:

Medical, Dental, Vision, and Employee Life Insurance available for employees who work 4+ hours per day (Full district contribution for 6+ hours/day; 50% contribution for 4-5.99 hours/day).

Education and Experience:

The position typically requires an Associate’s Degree and a high level of language proficiency and prior experience translating in a multi-cultural environment. Experience and certifications may substitute for some higher education.

Licenses and Certifications:

May require a valid driver’s license.
