Specialist, Patient Programs
Overview
Due to growth, we are adding a Specialist, Patient Programs to our team!
Under general direction of the Supervisor, Patient Programs, the person employed as a Specialist, Patient Programs works with Specialty Pharmacy teams to coordinate, monitor, and audit manufacturer programs. This position aides in sustaining a culture focused on quality patient-centered care while ensuring optimal pharmacy operations. The Specialist, Patient Programs is responsible for performing duties in accordance with manufacturer program activities. This position will assist in ensuring compliance with the manufacturer contracts and program guidelines.

Responsibilities How do I make an impact on my team?
Provide patient outreach via outbound phone calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
Communicate with doctor's offices and clinics to provide and gather prescription information.
Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals as it relates to manufacturer programs, and other specialty pharmacy duties.
Develop written patient/provider communication regarding program management (i.e., patient/provider letters, or fax templates).
Consistently adhere to established workflows for program management through internal reporting software (i.e., QlikView, 3D reporting).
Participate in interdepartmental and intradepartmental meetings regarding manufacturer programs or initiatives.
Develop and perform ongoing profile audits for compliance with manufacturers programs.
Act in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws and with the highest ethical standards that we consistently strive to achieve. Thus, legal and ethical compliance is an essential duty of each employee.
Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance and diversity, equity, and inclusion program objectives.

Qualifications What our team expects from you?
High school diploma or GED required.
Certified CPhT or ExCPT preferred.
2 years of pharmacy support, healthcare environment, or related experience preferred.
1 year of experience and demonstration of proficiency in position at Lumicera or equivalent preferred.
Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.
