Pediatric - Endocrinology Physician

Coverage Needed

April 14, 2025 - Ongoing

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Weekends: No weekend clinic but includes weekend call

Clinical Details: Clinic days will cover any inpatient consults or urgent outpatient questions for providers not currently in clinic for that 24 hours

Avg. Daily Census: 10–12 with a mix of new and follow‑ups

Patient Age Group: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents

Provider will see 10–12 patients with 60 minutes for new patients, 30 minutes for follow‑ups. Treating Adrenal gland conditions, Diabetes, Early or delayed puberty, Growth problems, Lipid disorders, Low blood sugar, Menstrual disorders, Obesity, Pituitary gland conditions, Thyroid gland conditions, Vitamin D deficiency.

Requirements

Pediatric Endocrinology Board Certified / Board Eligible

Active NC License and DEA

PALS

Charting Experience: Epic Required

Call

Call expectations: Inpatient and outpatient call – 7–14 days depending on the month

24‑hour call includes inpatient consults and urgent outpatient questions for providers not currently in clinic

RN’s, CMA’s, one other full‑time and part‑time physician, and NP
