About the Job Project Consultants perform in‑home meetings in the Metro Atlanta area to showcase our extensive home improvement products and services, ensuring a world‑class experience for our customers.
Core Responsibilities
Manage pre‑qualified leads in a no/low‑pressure sales environment
Follow a value‑based selling process embodying honesty and integrity
Listen to your customers and ask questions to better understand what they want/need and provide options to match
Manage the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all leads and in‑home consultations
Serve as the liaison between operations and the customer post‑sale ensuring a fantastic customer experience
Attend required trainings, and follow Nelson Exteriors sales processes
Stay current on industry standards, trends, and competitor activity

Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of sales experience
Minimal construction knowledge
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Openness to learning new things and coachability
Strong communication skills
Attention to detail with a keen eye for design
Enjoy outdoors – this is not a desk job
Natural leader who takes ownership of time and tasks
Additional Qualifications
3+ years of experience, specifically in commissioned sales, in‑home sales, or related field
Capability to navigate various software applications on company‑provided tablet
Established reputation as a high‑integrity top performer
Goal‑oriented and extremely hardworking
Problem solver focused on solutions
Physical Demands
Ability to lift and carry at least 20–60 lbs of sample materials (required)
Requires frequent travel to and from customer locations
May stand for an extended period while consulting with customers
Full‑time position; driving is a required part of the role
Schedule
Flexible weekly schedule
Required availability Monday‑Friday 9am‑6:30pm; no required appointments after 5pm or on weekends
