Admissions Representative – Parker University

In this blended role you will contribute to admissions, enrollment, and recruitment, encouraging qualified prospective students to become Parker University students and providing a positive, professional impression in person, on the phone, and via email.
Responsibilities
Actively promote and communicate all programs offered at Parker University to prospective students.
Conduct personal interviews, telephone interviews, and e‑mail correspondence to identify student prospects and determine their educational needs, concerns, and interests.
Guide prospective students from inquiry through acceptance into Parker University.
Develop, manage, and meet action plans to achieve personal and departmental enrollment objectives.
Develop rapport with prospective students and maintain frequent contact.
Use the customer relationship management (CRM) system to document all communication with prospective students.
Enter and interpret data within a CRM system.
Remain current on university degree offerings, programs, and Academic and Financial Aid policy changes.
Evaluate monthly activity against standards and personal inquiry goals.
Assist and participate in planning recruiting and enrollment events as needed.
Ensure compliance with applicable university policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Willingness to travel and work nights and weekends as needed.
Education / Expertise
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred (high school diploma required).
1 year of sales, recruiting, or interviewing experience (3 years preferred).
Experience communicating with diverse groups of people in person, by telephone, and in writing.
Experience in advisory roles in education, health and wellness, life coaching, or mediation.
Experience with high‑volume outbound calls, appointment scheduling, and managing telephone, mail‑in, and walk‑in prospective students.
Experience in or attendance at a university setting (plus).
Experience with internet‑based leads (plus).
Bi‑lingual (plus).

Ability to coordinate and perform multiple tasks simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Advanced technology skills, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong planning, organization, and time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks and due‑date pressures while maintaining high quality work.

Physical Requirements
Visual acuity to use a keyboard and view a computer terminal; requires good hand‑eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity.
Ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; ability to stand and walk.
Occasional lifting, carrying, or moving light to medium weight up to 12 pounds; exert up to 12 pounds of force.
