Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
Company Overview Landing Point is a fully integrated real‑estate investment and property‑management firm overseeing a diverse portfolio of more than 100 residential and commercial assets throughout New York City.
Job Responsibilities
Manage daily cash activities across multiple bank accounts, including wires, deposits, and transfers.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions; review and process invoices, record tenant receipts, and monitor delinquencies.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist in the month‑end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and amortization.
Maintain accurate rent rolls, lease data, and tenant ledgers.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for property‑level and consolidated reporting.
Support property‑level financial reporting and prepare internal management reports.
Coordinate with third‑party property managers, lenders, and joint‑venture partners as needed.
Assist in accounting for property acquisitions, dispositions, and capital projects.
Participate in special projects, including process improvement initiatives and internal system optimization using AppFolio.
Provide guidance and oversight to offshore accounting support.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
5–10 years of accounting experience, ideally in real‑estate or property management.
Solid understanding of cash management and multi‑entity accounting.
Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
Experience with AppFolio or similar property management/accounting software required or strongly preferred.
Compensation Salary: $70,000 – $120,000, plus bonus.
