Vice President Human Resources at National Material L.P. The Tang Family Office (TFO) comprises Tang Industries, Inc. (“TII”) and its affiliates. Position Summary:
TII is seeking a talented & dynamic individual to fill the position of
Accountant
in our
Las Vegas, Nevada office . The ideal candidate will be an accounting professional that embraces working collaboratively with a small group of experienced treasury, tax, and legal professionals in our Las Vegas office. They will have a “roll‑up‑your‑sleeves” attitude to personally solve problems and challenges by analyzing data, developing process‑based solutions, and applying compliant and sound accounting practices. The position will report to the TII VP & Treasurer and be responsible for supporting TII’s investment, trust, and foundation accounting and reporting function across multiple legal entities.
This position is based in TII’s Las Vegas office and is an onsite position with potential to work remotely on Fridays following successful completion of onboarding and job training.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate general ledgers for the group investment LLC, trust, and foundation entities as well as providing support for tracking investments including returns, providing reporting for owners, supporting portfolio management team and providing miscellaneous treasury support
Create and maintain accounting policies and procedures for foundations and trust entities
Work closely with tax and treasury personnel to ensure GAAP accounting records accurately reflect all group cash movements and properly support tax compliance activities
Monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, including financial statements, forecasting and various schedules/statistics reporting to key stakeholders
Review and perform account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts
Identify and support our continuous improvement initiatives
Other ad-hoc requests
Required Skills:
Experience with month‑end closing of the books and other statistical reporting
Good basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles ("GAAP")
Self‑motivated to learn and drive improvement
Deadline‑Oriented
Team‑Oriented
Organized, efficient and attentive to detail
Strong interpersonal, oral and written skills
Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with accounting concentration required if not an accounting degree
2‑4 years’ experience, including monthly/annual accounting closings
CPA preferred, but not required
Other important areas where experience is preferred but not required:
Family office work environments, including foundation reporting
Implementation of financial and investment report IT systems
Treasury/banking functions
Microsoft AX and D365 ERP system
