Shift Schedule 2nd shift, working from

4:00 PM - 12:30 AM , with designated days off on Wednesday and Thursday.

Sanitation Associate Responsibilities The RTH Sanitation Associate is responsible for all activities involved in maintaining the cleanliness and food‑safe environment in the kitchen and assembly areas. The Sanitation Associate must wear proper personal protective equipment at all times, maintain tools and equipment in a clean, organized and safe manner, and follow all health and safety regulations.

RTH Cleaning

Empty all trash cans and replace liners; clean and sanitize receptacles on a daily basis.

Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing with a floor scrubber.

Clean and wipe down racks.

Clean and sanitize metal tables daily.

Re‑stock vinyl gloves and PPE in all sizes.

Clean and sanitize hand wash sinks and the three department sinks.

Clean, empty and sanitize all garbage gondolas daily.

Mix water and cleaning chemicals in containers; prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.

Check for leaks, drips, and condensation.

Clean all food manufacturing machinery according to SOPs.

RTH Equipment Cleaning (Blast Chillers, Tilt Skillets, Ovens, MAP Machines, Sanitunnel)

Follow SSPO cleaning procedures with individual equipment cleans.

Use proper PPE while performing cleaning tasks.

Use a dry cleaning method on floors.

Remove any buildup or ice accumulation on floors, walls, and cooling units.

Check for leaks, drips, and condensation.

Follow Lock Out Tag Out procedures according to policy when applicable.

Dish Room

Empty all trash cans and replace liners; clean and sanitize receptacles daily.

Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing with a floor scrubber.

Clean and wipe down racks.

Clean, wash and sanitize all production utensils, bus tubs, sheet pans, and blue dollies.

Clean metal tables and sanitize daily.

Re‑stock chemicals.

Clean and sanitize three department sinks.

Test sanitizer with Hydrion test strips to verify PPM sanitation solution.

Clean tub washer according to SOP.

GMP Frock Room

Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing with a floor scrubber.

Empty all trash cans and replace liners; clean and sanitize receptacles daily.

Re‑stock vinyl gloves in all sizes and PPE accordingly.

Clean and sanitize hand wash sinks and the three department sinks.

Clean and maintain all walls and areas.

General Responsibilities

Follow the facility GMPs and help enforce them throughout the facility.

Support the company’s efforts to maintain the food safety system (SQF) and quality programs.

Attitude and Attendance

Arrive to work at scheduled time and follow time off request procedures.

Communicate with co‑workers in a professional manner.

Treat co‑workers with respect at all times.

Escalate attitude issues among janitors to FSQA Manager.

Use teamwork with production throughout the day.

Demonstrate ownership of tasks and job responsibilities consistently.

This position requires 0% travel.

Qualifications

Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred.

2+ years of experience working in the food industry.

General high school degree, or equivalent (e.g., GED).

Salary California Pay Range: $20.25—$20.25 USD. Compensation is based on geographic location, experience, and internal equity.
