Key Tasks
Social Media & Digital Engagement: Manage and grow the Foundation's social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms; develop and execute content calendars aligned with Foundation campaigns, events, and initiatives; create engaging posts, reels, and videos that highlight end‑user stories, impact, and partnerships; monitor analytics to track engagement and optimize content strategy.
Storytelling & Content Creation: Capture and share powerful stories from Permobil end-users, partners, and events through video and photography; oversee creation of event invitations, promotional materials, and collateral for both in‑person and virtual events; collaborate to identify storytelling opportunities that reflect the Foundation's mission and values; produce digital assets—reels, videos, graphics, and social media posts—to highlight impact and mission.
Brand Awareness & Marketing: Ensure consistent brand voice and visual identity across all communication channels; support marketing and promotional materials for campaigns, events, and sponsorships; develop creative assets for digital and print use to support Foundation visibility and donor engagement; create monthly engagement highlights for Board Meetings (mission moments).
Fundraising Campaigns & Online Donor Engagement: Lead digital marketing and communications for the Foundation's 10K Online Fundraising Campaign, Giving Tuesday, Season of Giving, and Year‑End Appeal campaigns, driving participation and online donations; oversee the creation, design, and distribution of the year‑end newsletter; develop content for email campaigns, social media, and the website to engage donors and encourage recurring contributions; cultivate and steward new and existing donors through spotlight features, thank‑you campaigns, and recognition initiatives.
Event Communication: Provide live and post‑event coverage for Foundation activities, including event recaps and highlight reels; develop content showcasing impact stories from sponsored events and initiatives.
Website & Digital Content: Manage updates (with IT innovations firm) to ensure timely, engaging, and accurate information; create new content to highlight Foundation programs and stories.
End‑User Tracking & Impact Reporting: Maintain a database of end‑user recipients and product donation stories for ongoing social and communication use; partner with the team to track outcomes and testimonials that reflect the Foundation's reach and impact.

Your Background You have a bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
2‑4 years of experience in digital communications, social media management, or marketing (nonprofit experience preferred). Proven experience creating video and photo content for social media or marketing campaigns. Strong storytelling, writing, and organizational skills. Proficiency with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.). Passion for community engagement, inclusion, and helping people with disabilities live life to the fullest.
