Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver instruction, cooperate with College support staff by the timely submission of materials as required and coordinate activities with Program Directors.
Required to attend department meetings, participate in professional development and be available to students outside of class.
Teach class days and/or evenings.
Adjunct Level & Compensation Adjunct Level 1 - $1,085 per credit hour. Adjunct faculty may teach up to 22 credit hours each year and usually teach no more than 11 credits each semester.
Minimum Requirements
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
A Maryland Morticians license or a Morticians license from another state with eligibility to work as a Mortician in Maryland.
A minimum of one year of funeral service experience required.
College level teaching experience, Master's degree and five years of funeral service experience preferred.
Campus Locations Catonsville, Dundalk & Essex, MD.

The savings limits are combined for the Traditional 403(b) and the Roth 403(b) contributions.
Deferred Compensation Plan – 457(b) offered through VOYA Financial Advisors, Inc. The 457(b) salary reduction authorization form is needed. The form is available on SharePoint Forms/Human Resources Forms.
Parking Free parking. Must obtain a parking permit from the Department of Public Safety to use on all campuses.
Sick and Safe Leave CCBC is pleased to offer paid sick and safe leave for part‑time employees. Paid sick and safe leave is earned by all part‑time employees, including credit and non‑credit adjunct faculty, part‑time associates and other part‑time employees.
