The
Senior Data Engineer
will oversee the department’s data infrastructure, including developing a data model, integrating large amounts of data from different systems, building and enhancing a
data lake-house
and subsequent
analytics environment
, and writing scripts to facilitate data analysis.
This role will work closely and collaboratively with members of the
executive team
and various departments across the organization to define requirements, mine and analyze data, and deploy high-quality
data pipelines
to support analytics needs and data ingestion from
recently acquired firms
.
The Data team is responsible for turning data into information that leads to insights and actions to improve the business.

Key Responsibilities **
Develop, implement, and maintain scalable
data pipelines
and integrations across multiple systems.
Build and continuously enhance a
data lake-house
architecture to support structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to define business and technical requirements.
Write efficient scripts and queries to facilitate data analysis and reporting.
Integrate data from newly acquired companies into existing data infrastructure.
Transform data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
Ensure high standards of
data quality, integrity, and security
.

Qualifications **
Proven experience in
data engineering, data modeling, and system integration
.
Strong understanding of
data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics environments
.
Experience with snowflake and Azure.
Strong background in designing, architecting, migrations and integrations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
