We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing welding operations on steel beams, plates, and assemblies according to blueprints and job specifications. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Avondale, AZ Schedule:
Mon - Thurs / 3:30 pm - 2 am - OT as needed Pay Rate:
$22.70 - $24.40 (based on experience)
Duties
Operate overhead crane systems to handle steel beams, plates, and assemblies.
Safely rig steel using chains, grabs, and other rigging equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine weld type, thickness, and placement.
Operate various welding machines and tools to perform required welding operations.
Connect cables from power source to welder and strike arc to complete welds.
Use a needle gun or other tools to clean welds and remove slag.
Load and change weld wire spools as necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols.
Requirements
Must pass applicable weld tests.
Previous welding experience .
Ability to move and handle steel (10–50 lbs) using chains and grabs.
Must have sufficient strength, mobility, dexterity, vision, hearing, and stamina to perform job duties.
High school diploma or equivalent .
Welding certification a plus.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
