Job Description
HGOR is a firm focused on planning and designing great places for people, places which support clear returns on investment and provide a stewardship ethic for future generations. We call this our SEE philosophy and use it as the yardstick to gauge the success of our work.
Responsibilities Due to business growth HGOR seeks a smart, talented landscape designer or landscape architect with 0-5 years of experience who is proficient with design and graphics software listed below. The successful candidate will be able to: utilize the software mentioned to produce sketches, drawings, and renderings based on team ideas; participate in generating design ideas; generate CD package documentation, including layout, grading and drainage, detailing and product specifications; and become an integral part of the team with the collective goal of producing designs and documents that exceed the goals set by our clients.

Explains a project worked on in school or work that presented challenges requiring reasoning, problem solving and interpretation of information
Presentation Skills
Demonstrate professionalism in the interview
Explain interests, background, and answer questions articulately
Show enthusiasm for the firm and the profession
Communication Skills
Experience as a leader in a club or student organization that required coordination
Involved others in decision making
Requests help from professors or others when needed
Teamwork & Initiative
Examples that demonstrate the potential for teamwork in the office or study groups
Initiative in school or work activities
Education Requirements Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
