What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Architect, prototype, and deploy mission‑aligned agentic AI frameworks and LLM‑powered tools for cyber defense
Deliver working solutions across the TRL spectrum through rapid iteration from concept to prototype
Advance secure AI practices through applying Secure‑By‑Design and Zero Trust approaches
Collaborate with researchers to identify synergies and drive innovation across technology areas
Assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of AI/ML models for various applications
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 12+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, data science, or cybersecurity
Basic understanding of secure architectures including Zero Trust and Secure-by-Design patterns
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
Hands‑on experience building AI/ML systems, particularly leveraging LLMs or autonomous decision systems
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a related field
Experience with adversarial machine learning, reinforcement learning, or multi‑agent systems in cybersecurity operations
Familiarity with evaluating and fine‑tuning open‑source models, such as Llama‑3
Knowledge of federated learning or edge AI deployments for cyber‑physical systems
Demonstrated ability to rapidly prototype and integrate in a collaborative research environment
