This growth includes a brand‑new, state‑of‑the‑art 9,000 sq ft facility in Lufkin dedicated to comprehensive care, including vein & vascular services, CHF management, wellness programs, anticoagulation services, and more.
The Opportunity HIET is seeking a
Board‑Certified/Board‑Eligible Interventional Cardiologist
to join our expanding practice. You will provide cutting‑edge interventional cardiology services to a large, growing patient base within a supportive, collaborative, and technologically advanced environment. This role offers professional fulfillment, work‑life balance, and the exciting prospect of becoming a partner in our physician‑led group after Year 2.
Responsibilities & Practice Details
Perform a full range of interventional cardiology procedures, including coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations and follow‑up care.
Participate in on‑call coverage for interventional cardiology services.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, nurses, and other health professionals.
Actively contribute to the growth and development of HIET's interventional cardiology program.
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.
Potential for academic affiliation and involvement in research opportunities through our extensive network.
Teaching and committee opportunities are available for interested candidates.

Candidate Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
Unrestricted Texas medical license (or eligibility to obtain one).
Exceptional clinical skills and a commitment to patient‑centered care.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative team approach.
Ability to thrive in a growing and dynamic practice environment.
Ability to sponsor J1/H1B visas.
Where You'll Work Your primary base will be our brand‑new, state‑of‑the‑art 9,000 sq ft facility in Lufkin, a hub dedicated to comprehensive cardiovascular care. You will see patients from Lufkin and our six expanding satellite communities across East Texas.
