What Our Associate Attorneys Do
Attend court hearings, perform legal research, and collaborate with associate attorneys to offer legal advice.
Maintain organized files to ensure accessibility of recent updates to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
Analyze legal matters for conflicts, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on their behalf.
Prepare legal documents and correspondence, including contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements.
Communicate effectively with paralegals and clients to ensure efficient case management.
What We Need From You
Must have passed the bar exam and hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA).
Admission to the Texas Bar.
Evidence of current Texas Driver’s License and automobile insurance.
Minimum of 2 years of experience handling family law cases (non‑negotiable) in the state of Texas.
Ability to track billable hours.
Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new programs easily.
Strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and reliability.
Problem‑solving abilities and effective communication skills.
