Role Summary The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team develops advanced financial models and presentations for executive decision‑making, providing recommendations to support CPC’s strategic growth and balance‑sheet capitalization. As a Financial Analyst, you will contribute to complex business models, present key findings to senior management, support the implementation of CPC’s new ERP system, and serve as a finance liaison partnering across departments to enhance CPC’s performance.

What You’ll Do

Help support the development of CPC’s long‑ and short‑term financial forecasts and provide insights into the organization’s performance and that of its individual businesses.

Prepare clear and concise presentations outlining both financial findings and critical business insights to support recommendations to senior management.

Collaborate with colleagues within the finance team and from other departments to enhance CPC’s monthly and quarterly financial reporting, incorporating key performance metrics for multiple business lines.

Help support the annual operating budget process: partner with finance and business leaders to identify key revenue and expense assumptions for the year and create consolidated CPC and Business Segment budgets based on these inputs.

Manage CPC’s Capacity, Capital Allocation, and Liquidity models.

Help support CPC’s new financial ERP implementation project and future projects geared toward driving automation and improved financial reporting.

Help support CPC’s S&P and lender due‑diligence requirements using reporting and analytical tools to ensure timeliness and accuracy.

Participate in Finance department and cross‑departmental projects as required.

Help support the broader Finance function partnering with Accounting & Treasury to ensure reporting accuracy and alignment between the groups.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience

BA/BS in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field.

2–3 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in consulting, real estate, or banking.

Demonstrated understanding of financial analysis concepts and solid knowledge of GAAP.

Self‑motivated with a high degree of creativity and latitude.

Comfortable managing multiple projects with high ambiguity in a fast‑paced setting.

Results‑oriented, strong sense of urgency, and excellent follow‑through.

Strong modeling skills.

Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in PowerPoint.

ERP implementation experience (e.g., NetSuite, Workday) is a strong plus.

Detail oriented with good communication skills.

Ability to make formal presentations.

This is a full‑time, hybrid role where you will work from the Manhattan office two‑three days a week. The salary range is $75,000 – $90,000, dependent on experience.
