Home Care Director of Nursing Clinical Staffing Resources in Miami, FL is looking for a dedicated Home Care Director of Nursing to lead and oversee all clinical services for skilled home care, ensuring regulatory, quality and educational standards are met to the highest level.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the Supervising Nurse, ensuring appropriate staff supervision during all service hours.

Supervise and manage clinical operations, ensuring availability during operating hours and on‑call support after hours.

Consult and collaborate with Executives on process formulation, staffing assessments, and implementation.

Lead clinical and field staff in performing their duties, ensuring adherence to agency policies and procedures, and establishing standards of care.

Represent the Agency in regulatory audits and ensure compliance with licensure, certification criteria, and accreditation standards.

Oversee the implementation and evaluation of Agency standards of care for all services.

Maintain accurate, complete, and up‑to‑date client care documentation in the current system.

Oversee the QAPI program to ensure accurate and timely completion of audits and implementation of corrective action plans.

Ensure timely, appropriate admission of referrals and reassessment of patient needs.

Develop, maintain, and support all Agency standards of care to establish the agency's clinical quality goals.

Implement and enforce physician orders and review lab results with the physician and care team.

Maintain responsibility for reviewing OASIS documentation for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to Agency standards of care.

Ensure timely submission of the Notice of Admission (NOA) and the validation report for OASIS submission to the State repository.

Manage supply vendors, create formulary, develop par and ordering protocols for all medical supplies necessary based on patient conditions.

Provide staff development, including new hire orientation, yearly in‑service education, and continuing education.

Evaluate the performance of clinical personnel through timely performance evaluations and competency assessments.

Orient and train field personnel, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.

Actively develop and maintain referral sources and relationships with medical and health communities.

Participate in agency events and promote community awareness of services.

Participate in the on‑call rotation as defined by the on‑call policy.

Review claims requested by payers, especially items related to clinical documentation and standards of care.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Job Requirements

Current and valid Registered Nursing license in the state(s) of practice.

Bachelor’s degree in nursing; Master’s preferred.

Experience as a home health professional; prior experience as a field clinician preferred, with training in health service administration.

At least one year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care, hospice, or related health industry.

Experience in personnel management, including hiring, supervision, clinical training, and evaluation.

Current CPR Certification.

Must be able to read, write, and speak English & Spanish.

Knowledge of office computer equipment and software.
