What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Serve as a Charge Generation Tracker and ensure compliance with coding and billing guidelines
Collaborate with clinical departments to facilitate proper use of charge capture files
Provide regulatory support and guidance to clinical staff on coding and billing questions
Monitor daily edits reports and resolve outstanding coding issues
Develop and conduct educational courses on professional documentation and coding for staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
Associate's degree
Certification in Professional Coding (CPC)
EPIC Credentialed in Ambulatory within 12 months of hire
3-5 years of experience in professional billing and coding
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS codes and third‑party reimbursement policies
Experience presenting in front of groups
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for report development and presentations
