Hightop Hospitality is seeking a Venue Sales Manager to join our growing catering division. We are looking for a self-motivated person with drive, passion and confidence to enthusiastically sell and provide extraordinary customer experiences for multiple event centers in the Twin Cities area. Our events range from weddings to fundraisers and corporate meetings. This position is full-time and provides a base salary plus commission and bonus potential.
Venue Manager Duties and Responsibilities
Take ownership of the venue’s success from beginning to end
Meet monthly and annual sales goals for venue bookings
Point of contact for showings and guest tours
Provide quotes and proposals to potential guests
Team leader with ability to create a positive atmosphere for catering team and vendors
Responsible for weekly and monthly reporting for corporate headquarters
Manage and plan events to market event centers including open house events and wedding fairs
Execute marketing plan in conjunction with corporate headquarters marketing plan
Venue Manager Requirements and Skills
Venue Sales and Management experience of at least 1-2 years
Have a proven track record of successful sales bookings
Ability to provide exceptional guest service experience
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift 40 lbs occasionally including set-up/tear down of event space
Works schedule: Full time-must be able to work nights and weekends
