As our Human Resources Generalist, you'll be at the heart of creating an exceptional employee experience at Psomas. You'll help new team members feel welcomed and supported, guide them through onboarding, and be a trusted resource throughout their journey. Whether you're facilitating orientations, supporting employee programs, or contributing to HR initiatives that strengthen our culture of care, you'll play a key role in helping our people and teams thrive.

This is a full-time role based in our downtown Los Angeles, California office. Responsibility Highlights for our Human Resources Generalist

Coordinate onboarding, including preparing offer letters, scheduling, organizing, and facilitating new hire orientation activities across Psomas' Southern California offices, both in person and remotely

Present company policies, procedures, and benefit programs during orientation and address employee inquiries with professionalism and accuracy

Facilitate the exiting of departing employees, ensuring proper documentation, communication, and offboarding processes

Provide both proactive and responsive employee relations support while maintaining confidentiality and sound judgment; support employee changes and contribute to maintaining data accuracy and integrity in our HRIS and internal systems

Partner with Psomas' Talent Management Team and other HR partners as needed on employee programs and initiatives; assist with scheduling, tracking, and reporting of training programs, compliance requirements, and career development activities

Assist with administrative HR tasks, including data entry, file organization, and report generation; contribute to HR initiatives, events, and projects that enhance employee engagement and team operations; participate in miscellaneous HR projects and other duties as assigned to best support our company and culture of care

Minimum Qualifications to be our Human Resources Generalist

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience

2+ years of professional experience

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to provide professional, accurate, and timely support to employees

Ability to travel frequently throughout Southern California including a valid driver's license with minimal driving violations and infractions

Preferred Qualifications for our Human Resources Generalist

Experience using HRIS platforms such as UKG or Deltek

SHRM-CP or PHR Certification

Interest in learning and adopting new HR technologies

A competitive salary! The expected range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hour depending on experience Compensation may be adjusted for well qualified candidates
