Position Purpose:

The Production Superintendent leads plant production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations. This role is responsible for producing high-quality, food-safe products that meet regulatory requirements while fostering a safe work environment and strong team culture.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily production to ensure quality products are produced and shipped on time. Monitor inventory and maintain accurate staffing levels. Ensure a safe work environment by conducting safety training, inspections, and compliance with safety audits. Plan, organize, and schedule production to optimize Client, equipment, and resources. chieve production efficiency goals (minimum 93% efficiency). Train, develop, and promote supervisors; provide ongoing coaching on equipment, processes, and food safety. Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning. Monitor paperwork and ensure compliance with USDA and McDonald's regulations. Communicate effectively between shifts, departments, and supervisors to support continuous improvement, waste reduction, and productivity. Collaborate with maintenance to optimize uptime and production flow. Provide leadership and feedback to drive quality, efficiency, and safety. Must-Have Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of progressive managerial experience in production or manufacturing. Experience managing and developing production teams and supervisors. Proven ability to plan, schedule, and optimize production operations. Strong knowledge of safety, USDA, and food safety compliance. Background in quality control and continuous improvement. Effective communication skills across shifts and departments. bility to work 2nd shift (approx. 4 PM-2 AM, Monday-Friday) with occasional weekends. Physically able to work in manufacturing environments (standing long periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, working in hot/cold and noisy conditions). Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Meat Science, Business, or related field. Experience with budgeting, capital planning, and cost optimization. Familiarity with McDonald's or large-scale food service production standards. Experience leading process improvements and waste reduction initiatives. Additional Information:

Compensation:

$75,000-$85,000 annually, plus bonus potential (0-14%). Work Environment:

Primarily on the production floor; requires PPE and adherence to safety protocols. Shift:

2nd shift, approx. 4 PM-2 AM, Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends.
