This opening is for 2nd shift. The hours are Mon - Thurs 4:30pm - 3am. All 2nd shift employees receive 11.5% shift premium on all hours worked.
What You'll Do
Set up and operate manual mills and lathes, including Bridgeport Manual Mills Perform your own setups and create custom workholding for unique parts Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to meet exact specifications Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to check dimensions and accuracy Machine high-mix, low-volume parts with precision and care Inspect your own work to ensure top-quality results Troubleshoot and resolve machining challenges as they arise Maintain a clean and organized workspace following all safety and 5S standards What You Bring
Proven experience in manual machining (mills and lathes required) Strong measuring and inspection skills Ability to read blueprints, understand tolerances, and plan machining steps Comfort working independently on one-of-a-kind or small-batch parts Physical ability to stand, bend, and move throughout most of your shift Capability to lift and move parts up to 50 pounds, using lifting devices when possible Safety-Sensitive Designation:
