The Controller is responsible for the overall leadership and management of Graebel's global accounting, financial reporting, and internal control functions. This role ensures accuracy, integrity, and compliance with financial information across all locations. The Global Controller reports to the Chief Financial Officer and partners with regional finance teams, business leaders, and the executive team to drive consistent financial practices, manage risks, and support strategic decision-making.
We are committed to fair and transparent compensation. The salary range for this role is based on several factors including experience, skills, and qualifications and is $210,000 to $225,000.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
Oversee the preparation and consolidation of global financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP/IFRS and applicable local regulations.
Ensure timely, accurate, and transparent financial reporting for internal management, external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, driving efficiency and rigor.
Internal Controls & Compliance
Design, implement, and maintain a global internal control framework to ensure compliance with SOX (where applicable) and other statutory requirements.
Partner with internal and external auditors, addressing findings and ensuring remediation of control gaps.
Ensure compliance with global tax, statutory, and regulatory obligations.
Global Operations & Leadership
Provide leadership and oversight to regional and country-level controllers, ensuring consistency in policies, practices, and reporting.
Standardize accounting processes and systems across global operations to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
Build and develop a high-performing, diverse global finance team with a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Strategic Finance Partnership
Support the CFO and executive team in global financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
Provide financial insights to guide decisions on international operations, expansions, and business opportunities.
Collaborate with treasury, tax, FP&A, and other functions to optimize financial outcomes.
Systems & Process Improvement
Drive automation, digitalization, and scalability of accounting and reporting processes.
Partner with IT and business leaders to ensure global finance systems are integrated, secure, and effective.
Establish global policies and procedures to ensure consistent financial governance.

Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent international certification required.
12+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing global operations.
Strong background in internal controls, compliance, and risk management.
Experience leading multi-country teams in a complex, fast-paced, multinational organization.
