The EVM Lead for the Natrium project will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Natrium Demonstration Project's Earned Value Management System. This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Project Management Office.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of Natrium Demonstration Project's Earned Value Management System (EVMS) to be in compliance with all contract requirements. Responsible for conducting internal surveillance to include analysis of project performance, monitoring the Estimate to Complete (ETC) and program Estimate at Complete (EAC), review of Variance Analysis Reports (VARs) and Project Change Notices (PCNs) Create EVMS process documentation and Earned Value Management System Description revisions / updates. Research industry EVM best practices and incorporate into established processes. Serves as a SME to provide direct support to the Program Management Office (PMO)and Control Account Managers (CAMs) on the planning and implementation of Earned Value Management Systems Processes. Ensure satisfactory completion of month-end Earned Value reporting process including assessment of BCWS, BCWP, ACWP, SPI, CPI, EAC, BAC, and VAC including variance reporting for any values that exceed established thresholds. Assist with project change control for changes affecting baseline budget, scope or schedule which exceed established thresholds. Key Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, or equivalent technical field. PMP or AACE certificate is highly preferred. 10+ years' experience in project controls, with at least 5+ years in a lead cost and/or EVM role. Strong working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), as well as financial analysis. Strong data analysis, program evaluation and critical thinking skills\ Functional knowledge of system and technology alternatives. Demonstrated affinity for understanding key objective and intent and then working with stakeholders and software tools to improve a process or system to make it more efficient. Ability to work cross-functionally and build positive working relationships. Strong problem identification and resolution skill. Proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio) and ability to learn new software quickly. The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect and a desire to foster teamwork. Excellent presentation and written communication skills. Experience in new systems implementation and baseline management. Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 and EPPM application. Proficiency in Deltek Cobra or other industry recognized EVM tool. Knowledge in Power BI is preferred. Knowledge and proficiency in Jira and Confluence preferred. Knowledge and experience in work control, planning and scheduling application integration.
