Job Summary Summary: Responsible for managing expected workflow in all areas. Maintains and monitors phlebotomy collection and expectations to include safety, accuracy and response/result times.

Responsibilities Develops a qualified in-office and mobile phlebotomy team and ensures team that meets all regulatory requirements.
Manages direct report staff to include scheduling, interviewing, evaluating job performance, performance evaluations, competencies, continuing education, maintaining employee files, time keeping and attendance, corrective action, participating with Manager in staff meetings.
In conjunction with managers is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of all policies and procedures required by hospital, laboratory, and any governing regulatory agencies to assure the ongoing safe and efficient daily operation of phlebotomy services. Supports and monitors customer, and employee service expectations.
Collects and provides all department quality data indicators to the Laboratory Quality Assurance department or other entities required.
Qualifications Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Associate\'s Degree Related Field of Study preferred
Licenses and Credentials
Experience: Experience in phlebotomy 3-5 years required and Supervisory experience 1-2 years preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - In depth knowledge of phlebotomy regulatory requirements. - Proficient with statistical and computer productivity software (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.). - Strong communication skills. - Demonstrated organizational skills. - Strong attention to detail. - Demonstrated training skills.
