The Receiver, Exciter, and Back End Processing (REBEP) Department is central to developing cutting-edge receiver, exciter, beam steering, and signal processing technologies. We are looking for a dedicated Electrical Engineer to contribute to the design and development of the next generation of Radar Receiver, Exciter, and Transmitter subsystems. If you’re experienced in digital/analog hardware design and eager to apply your skills to architecture, integration, and testing, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct circuit and sub-system architecture, design, modeling, simulation, and verification.
  • Perform integration and testing at component, CCA, and subsystem levels.
  • Assist in transitioning designs to production and provide technical support to manufacturing and testing teams.
  • Travel to supplier, integration, and customer sites as needed.
  • Manage small projects or processes within your area of expertise.
  • This is a 1st shift position requiring 100% on-site work, with locations available in Tewksbury, MA or Marlborough, MA.

Qualifications Required:

  • A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Experience in two or more of the following areas:
    • Digital Design (from requirements through testing)
    • Production Testing
    • Design simulation tools (e.g., HyperLynx, LTSpice) and analytical tools (e.g., Matlab).
    • Design development tools (e.g., Mentor Graphics' Xpedition schematic capture and layout).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. government security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with testing Digital to Analog Converters (D/A) and Analog to Digital Converters (A/D).
  • Familiarity with high-speed digital interfaces such as JESD204B, Memory (DDR3, DDR4), SERDES, 10G+ Ethernet, and Fiber Channel.
  • Knowledge of FPGA hardware designs including SERDES and LVDS chip-to-chip and board-to-board interfaces.
  • Experience in requirements allocation and flow down from system to component level.
  • Strong understanding of cost estimating, budget, and schedule management.
  • Hands-on experience using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, phase noise analyzers (PNA), and spectrum analyzers in a lab setting.
  • Experience in a production environment is preferred.
  • Strong skills in technical and proposal writing, along with oral presentation abilities.
  • Active/Existing Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
