The Opportunity
Implement talent acquisition strategy by identifying and recommending qualified candidates to meet business needs and organizational objectives.
Location & Work Arrangement
Chicago, IL – 500 West Madison St Suite 1205, Chicago IL 60661
Atlanta, GA – 3340 Peachtree Road, Tower Place 100 Atlanta GA 30326
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – expected in office 2‑3 days per week
Salary Range: $64,000 – $105,500
Your New Role
Utilize expertise to narrow applicant pool and ensure recommended candidates meet assigned managers' hiring needs.
Manage end‑to‑end talent acquisition process for assigned managers.
Serve as a resource to candidates by managing salary negotiations and informing them of the hiring process.
Deliver quality service to recruitment leader by providing engaged candidates ready for assessment.
Assist with continuous improvement opportunities by escalating sourcing and recruitment issues.
Optimize external network through visible market profile and communication with prospective candidates and industry leaders.
Additional responsibilities for technology focused recruiters: knowledgeable in cutting‑edge technologies; explain and discuss complex tech simply; understand technical job descriptions; source and engage passive talent.
Additional responsibilities for executive focused recruiters: identify and engage executive talent; source high‑level individuals; write candidate profiles; maintain pipeline and succession plan.
Additional responsibilities for campus focused recruiters: organize and participate in recruiting events; build relationships with career centers, faculty, student orgs; plan internships and diversity recruiting events; support summer internship and new graduate program.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Experience
5 years relevant experience.
Build constructive working relationships and open communication.
Use logic and reasoning to evaluate alternatives.
Maintain confidentiality of private or sensitive information.
Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication.
Motivational, inspirational and enthusiastic team engagement.
Understand customer needs and actively look for ways to meet them.
Prioritize competing responsibilities concurrently and effectively.
Provide personalized and quality service to meet customer expectations.
Convey information confidently to various audiences.
Work independently with little supervision.
Intermediate understanding of recruiting principles and procedures.
Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance and affirmative action.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Strong working knowledge of applicant tracking systems.
Compensation Package
The salary range for this role is provided above. The salary offer will be decided based on role complexity, location and candidate's background. In addition to base salary, full‑time and part‑time employees are eligible for QBE’s annual discretionary bonus plan based on performance.
