Manufacturing Planner

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Manufacturing Planner in Everett, WA. Position type: Full-time, Contract Duration: 6+ Months Location: Everett, WA.

As a Manufacturing Planner you will:

• Plans and leads teams that support implementation of strategic business initiatives and manufacturing and tooling enhancements.
• Analyzes new technologies, concepts and processes that simplify and improve manufacturing processes.
• Supports benchmarking of industry to determine best practices. Leads integration of major, complex suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
• Participates in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
• Develops unique and innovative tooling requirements in alignment with strategic initiatives.
• Establishes processes for managing tooling from initial design to end of use disposition. Leads investigations of critical manufacturing related issues.
• Develops and implements solutions involving a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Supports benchmarking of advanced applications and methodologies to support producibility improvements. Researches and develops unique and innovative manufacturing concepts. Influences the design to ensure efficient manufacturing and optimum value.
• Presents business case/trade study recommendations to leadership for review.
• Leads development of complex work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
• Performs high level analysis of schedule and work statement processes to identify and mitigate manufacturing risks. Researches, develops and implements new manufacturing processes to support long-range goals and strategic initiatives. Works under consultative direction.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 9 years aerospace manufacturing planning experience.
• Read engineering drawings.
• Writing and revising work.
