About the Role
The Manufacturing Manager II provides leadership to the production planning, shipping, and operations staff in all aspects of the operational processes for the plant site and is responsible for delivering against site production targets and improvements, as well as leading the development of skills and overall competency of their team. This role leads and reinforces a high-performing safety culture. Through consistent presence, leadership, employee engagement and support, Manufacturing Manager II focuses on performance improvement, cost reduction, product delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction. The successful incumbent will develop and execute strategic operating plans aligned with ASC Profiles’ business goals.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Using Felt Leadership, implement and ensure high performance of safety metrics.
Train and Maintain standards according to BSL Codes of practice, Safety and
Facilitate quality, service improvements and cost reduction through efficient manufacturing practices, collaboration and use of continuous improvement methodology.
Provide leadership, support and direction to site employees while ensuring the skills and competency of the team members are built and maintained.
Mentor staff to optimize performance, drive results and leadership growth.
Accountable for effectively communicating with and supporting the team. This includes the timely communication of relevant information, as well as the company’s purpose, vision and values.
Provide leadership consistency in implementing best practices.
Support peers by building networks, sharing successes, tools and knowledge.
Ensure CAPEX and cost savings projects are completed on time, within budget and with forecast improvements.

Education & Experience Qualifications
Minimum
BS/BA Degree
5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
5+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
Proven hands‑on experience driving a culture of safety, high‑performance and employee engagement.
Intimate knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and their application in a production environment including experience in converting from traditional manufacturing to Lean principles and methodology.
Proven experience in managing safety and environment, production efficiency, maintenance, visual management, manufacturing systems, equipment utilization, delivery performance, product quality, budget and cost controls.
Preferred
Knowledge of steel industry.
Knowledge of ASC Profiles products and specifications.
5+ years’ experience in a managerial capacity at a roll‑forming manufacturer.
7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience with plant start‑ups and equipment layout.

Salary Range: This position's estimated annual base salary is $117,700.00 - $176,550.00. Actual base salary will be dependent on an individual’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role is eligible for 401k Savings plan, Healthcare (medical, dental and vision), and other generous rewards.
