Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to support high school students through specialized speech-language therapy services. The role is designed for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist who holds both the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and SLP School certification. Located in Cranston, Rhode Island, this contract assignment spans the entire school year, providing consistency in care and intervention. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for high school students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and service delivery Participate in team meetings and contribute to student intervention strategies Qualifications: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certification as a School-based Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with adolescents in an educational setting, preferably high school level Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families Commitment to student-centered therapy and positive outcomes Location: Cranston, Rhode Island Duration: Full school year contract (NSY) This contract opportunity suits professionals dedicated to enhancing communication skills in a dynamic high school environment.
