Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a part-time Radiology Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring ARRT, IEMA, and CPR certification.
Responsibilities Work in a hospital radiology department performing diagnostic x-rays for inpatients, emergency, and surgical cases Utilize equipment including GE 656, GE Tempo Pro, GE XRD, Shimadzu portables, and OEC C-Arms Part-time night shifts; first week schedule: Tuesday, Friday, Saturday; second week: Sunday, Wednesday; alternating each week .5 FTE consisting of 24 hours one week and 16 hours the next No call required Uses Epic and GE Centricity PACS for documentation and imaging Responsible for performing diagnostic x-rays on a variety of patient populations in multiple settings including surgery and ER Will not work alone; department includes additional technologists and support First week of orientation will be on the day shift Scrubs required as dress code Assignment offers the possibility of extension or temp-to-hire
Requirements Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program Current ARRT registration required IEMA Accreditation in Medical Radiation Technology required Current CPR certification required Minimum one year of experience as an X-ray Technologist preferred, including surgery experience License required if applicable
