Job Overview: Optimum Energy LLC is looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to join our growing team in Meriden, CT. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial clients. If you’re passionate about delivering top-notch service and have the skills to get the job done right, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and ductwork.
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and provide effective solutions.
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure systems are running efficiently.
Inspect systems for compliance with safety codes and regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service and explain repairs or installations to clients.
Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Stay updated on the latest HVAC technology and best practices.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Technician (residential and/or commercial).
Valid HVAC license in the state of Connecticut. Apprentice and entry level D2 considered.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills with clients and team members.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Skills:
EPA Certification (Section 608).
OSHA 10 or 30
Experience with residential and commercial HVAC systems.
Knowledge of energy-efficient HVAC systems and technologies.
