Corvid Technologies
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems to ensure they meet specified requirements and quality standards. You will work with blueprints, schematics, standard operating procedures and other technical documents to assemble, test, and inspect mechanical products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions
Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and systems with precision and accuracy
Inspect and test finished products to ensure functionality, quality, safety and operational specifications
Troubleshoot and identify mechanical issues during assembly or testing processes
Maintain clean and organized workstations, following safety guidelines and regulations
Collaborate with other team members to meet production schedules and deadlines
Document work completed and provide feedback on process improvements
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification in mechanical assembly is a plus)
Proven experience in mechanical assembly, with knowledge of assembly techniques and tools
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and assembly machines
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to comply with safety standards and procedures
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, bend, or stoop for long periods
Manual dexterity and the ability to use hand tools effectively
Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, including the ability to maneuver objects as needed
Work Environment:
Manufacturing or production floor with exposure to noise and machinery
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection as required.
