Data Scientist - Cybersecurity
The Judge Group is currently seeking a Data Scientist - Cybersecurity to support a classified customer in Washington, DC. This position requires an active DoD secret clearance and the ability to work onsite three days per week. What You Will Need: Active Secret or Top-Secret Clearance Minimum FIVE (5) years of experience of hands-on cybersecurity experience with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role Strong understanding of federal cybersecurity requirements (FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST) Cybersecurity performance measures, federal reporting requirements, Cybersecurity data sources and tools. Quality control experience including debugging and conducting Quality Assurance of new features and enhancements Ability to facilitate meetings and present topics to diverse groups of functional and technical staff Experience developing new and re-designing existing processes to meet new and/or evolving business requirements B.S. or B.A. in a relevant quantitative and/or computational discipline. Experience leading advance analytics development efforts and managing the work of more junior data scientists High level of proficiency in Python and Tableau dashboard development Experience building automated data pipelines in Databricks, including cleaning, aggregating, and organizing data from multiple sources Ability to lead and design data modeling processes, algorithms and predictive models, AI use cases, and custom analysis Experience leading data driven analytic activities involving the identification of key indicators for both compliance and effectiveness critical to mission/business success Experience manipulating large data sets and using them to identify trends and reach meaningful conclusions to inform strategic business decisions Ability to define data requirements and ensure storage, availability, and coherence of electronically stored information to guarantee it meets the organization's needs Competency in data mining, including structuring of raw data to formulate or recognize patterns to generate new information and unlock information and insights that help the organization better manage risks Expertise in PowerBI Ability to support on-site and hybrid projects in the DC metro area
