As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will play a crucial role in advancing our U.S. Defense Department initiatives within the World Wide Public Sector practice at Amazon. Your responsibilities will include:
Owning technical engagements and ensuring the success of specific implementation projects.
Defining implementation architectures and contributing to RFI and RFP responses.
Building expertise in AWS technologies, including Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, and Amazon CloudFront.
Serving as a subject matter expert on security for customer applications and services.
Collaborating with a talented sales and business development team to meet the needs of Defense markets.
You will have the chance to lead best-practice knowledge sharing among the AWS solution architect community and work alongside some of the brightest technical minds in the industry.

Strong executive speaking and presentation skills for various audience sizes. Technical knowledge in web application service development, DevOps/DevSecOps, cloud computing, and data architectures. Experience in website/service operations, management, and security. Knowledge of economic and business RFP/Acquisition support, technical architecture, and cost-benefit analysis. Advisory experience in working with Department of Defense clients. This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen. Basic Qualifications
8+ years of experience in technology domains like software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, and security. 3+ years of experience in designing or consulting for applications and infrastructures. 10+ years in IT development or consulting across software or internet industries. A degree or relevant certifications such as CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, or CSSLP. Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking. Experience with end-user or developer communities.
