D&H Equipment, a family-owned leader in custom asphalt blending systems, seeks a dedicated
Service Department Manager
to lead and elevate our Electrical & Technical Service team. You’ll steer installation, troubleshooting, and assembly of key electrical and mechanical components—travel included.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage workflow and schedules for electrical technical service staff, ensuring excellence, precision, and timely delivery.
Oversee assembly, installation, and repair of components including:
Electrical controls, panels, gears, motors
Conduit, wiring, and electrical connections
Burners (diesel, natural gas, propane) and associated fuel lines
Power transmission systems—augers, pumps, and related machinery
RTDs (placed accurately), manual temperature and level devices, and differential switches
Analyze blueprints, schematics, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and drawings for accurate electrical component production and service tasks.
Utilize tape measures and hand tools with precision to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong aptitude in reading and interpreting technical documentation (blueprints, schematics, BOMs).
Proficient in hands-on electrical/mechanical tasks using standard hand tools and measurement devices.
Proven ability to lead teams, prioritize effectively, and uphold quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
