Stellar Solutions supports SSC/GSIS with systems engineering and integration for space, ground, and user segments.
Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications
Serve as a senior integration engineer enabling end-to-end technical definition, risk management, and milestone execution for DoD space and ground programs. Perform systems engineering/integration across multi-contractor teams. Support program reviews (SRR/SDR/SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA/PCA).
Execute risk management processes; develop/track risks, issues, opportunities, and handling plans.
Apply MBSE/digital engineering to manage definitions and baselines.
Prepare decision briefings and integration plans; coordinate cross-functional activities.
Communicate status and issues clearly; work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications: 12+ years in SE/Integration on DoD satellite or ground systems.
5+ years supporting formal space/DoD reviews (as listed above).
2+ years performing program risk management on space-related systems (ground/software/hardware).
MBSE/digital engineering experience for baseline management.
Strong written/oral communication; self-starter with mission focus.
Bachelor's in Engineering, Math, Physics, or CS.
Desired Qualifications: 2+ years in MILSATCOM mission area and/or space acquisition.
Agile software program experience; Confluence/Jira; software factory/DevSecOps familiarity.
Top Secret clearance; Master's degree.
Agile certifications (CSM, CPO, PMI-ACP, ICP); INCOSE (ASEP/CSEP/ESEP).
Tools & Collaboration: Jira/Confluence; Microsoft 365; MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo) as applicable.
Security Clearance & Other Requirements: Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred.
Location This position is located in El Segundo, CA * Travel: Up to 25%
The typical salary range for this position is USD $145,000 - $185,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, retirement plan and other benefits (all in addition to salary). Deliverable(s)
Deliverables will be in the format of reports, briefings, spreadsheets, or other documents as directed by the Government, using government approved and/or mandated systems/software and processes governed by guidance/instructions/policy or direction.
