Avenue5 Residential About the Position:
Were looking for a talented leasing consultant who will be responsible for coordinating all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals. The leasing consultant is also responsible for interacting directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and ensure resident retention and client satisfaction. Responsibilities
Coordinate activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals. Interact with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and ensure resident retention and client satisfaction. Provide excellent customer service to prospective and current residents. Generate and handle traffic, qualify prospective residents, lease apartments, prepare lease documentation, and complete move-in paperwork. Ensure model apartments are in touring condition and orient residents to the property. Process renewal paperwork and deliver documentation monthly. Maintain accurate records of traffic activity and follow up with prospects via phone, mail, or email. Convert phone traffic into scheduled appointments for property tours. Inspect apartments prior to move-ins and coordinate move-in/out with maintenance. Maintain confidential resident files and review move-in paperwork with new residents. Complete weekly leasing reports and ensure open/close procedures are performed daily. Assist with ongoing resident relations and respond promptly to requests. Research competitive properties. Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness; coordinate repairs as needed. Provide clerical support (answering calls, filing, processing invoices) and assist with resident activities to improve retention. Comply with company policies, health and safety rules, and applicable laws. Performs other duties as assigned. Education And Experience
High school diploma required. Minimum of one year of previous sales experience preferred. One year of previous residential leasing experience preferred. Skills And Requirements
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Experience with Yardi Voyager or another equivalent system preferred. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Strong communication and problem-solving abilities; ability to handle confidential information. Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency. English reading, writing, and speaking proficiency. Ability to use general office equipment and maintain proper records. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to defuse difficult situations and maintain professionalism. Valid drivers license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance required.
