Overview HR Specialist role at Burlington Stores, Inc. The HR Specialist will be on site to support the DC HR team at Distribution Centers, driving improvements to performance management, hiring, onboarding, compliance, and the overall associate experience. The role partners with DC management to respond to Associate Relations issues, drive Performance Management, and initiate HR support services. Administrative support to the team is also included. Base pay range $65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr Interpretation of pay and eligibility will be discussed with the recruiter. Position Location and Type Location: Georgia-Ellabell; Status: Full-Time; Remote Type: In Office/On-site Responsibilities Address associate relations issues, including mediating disputes, investigating complaints, and supporting a positive work environment aligned with company values. Drive HR compliance and provide administrative expertise for the DC HR team. Serve as local subject matter expert for LOA, workplace accommodations, and the attendance program. Serve as the subject matter expert for HR DC users on HR systems and provide training to the HR DC team. Manage onboarding/orientation program and support recognition & engagement initiatives. Support cyclical HR processes including performance appraisals, engagement surveys, talent calibration, peak staffing initiatives, and incentive programs. Coordinate delivery of training and associate information with the HR training manager. Represent Burlington at unemployment hearings related to time and attendance as needed. Manage reporting for management to track team and organizational goals; administer terminations and related processes; support day-to-day associate needs. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field from an accredited college or university. 3-5 years of HR generalist or specialist experience, preferably in a Distribution Center environment. Ability to work in a warehouse/distribution center environment, including standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods; occasional travel to other facilities. Flexibility to adjust work hours as needed, including occasional evenings or weekends during peak seasons. Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations (EEO, wage and hour, benefits, leave policies). Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Strong ability to provide sound recommendations on associate relations matters; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
