Assembly Technician - Indianapolis, IN

Pay: $23 per hour

Shift: 1st, Monday - Friday

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

As an Assembly Technician, you will operate and maintain a variety of machines to produce high-quality components that meet or exceed specifications. You will be responsible for machine setups, tool changes, and adjusting as necessary. Experience with rotary index machines .

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the machine according to standard operating procedures (SOP)
• Document and inspect quality of work per Quality Assurance Inspection Procedure (QAIP).
• Use micrometers, height gauges, calipers, and comparators
• Follow work orders and routings
• Follow all environmental health and safety (EHS) policies and procedures including use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Extensive experience operating, setups, tool changes, etc.
• Must have a good understanding of shop math & blueprint reading/comprehension Geometric Dimensional and Tolerance (GD&T).
• Must be able to use and read measuring devices, micrometers and calipers, gauges, comparator's, etc.
• Documented manufacturing education/training .
• SAP or Enterprise systems knowledge .
