Production Supervisor - Indianapolis, IN

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to lead a team of 7 employees on the 2nd shift in a fast‑paced production and distribution environment. The ideal candidate will be hands‑on, organized, and capable of balancing leadership responsibilities with operational duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of 7 production staff on the 2nd shift.
• Ensure timely and accurate loading of trucks for outgoing shipments.
• Operate a sit‑down forklift safely and efficiently.
• Scan and assign totes to corresponding tickets using provided systems.
• Monitor team productivity and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with other shifts and departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Key Requirements

• Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role in a production or warehouse environment.
• Proficient in operating a sit‑down forklift (certification or willing to obtain).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Familiarity with scanning and inventory systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Dependable and self‑motivated with a strong work ethic.
