Qualifications The Production Manager needs to have knowledge and hands on experience with Digital printing, Logistics, Prepress, and Bindery. A minimum of 5 years, hands on management experience in a printing facility experience is required. Responsibilities The Production Manager will be managing workflow, creating and maintaining production schedules, observing and coaching packaging/bindery/pressroom operators, performing quality checks and addressing breakdowns or other production related issues that might occur. Candidate will oversee and manage all printing production personnel in printing, prepress, bindery, logistics, and packaging of products to meet customer expectations and specifications. They will also be responsible for all work performed in Prepress, Pressroom, Packaging and Bindery, in terms of safety, quality, productivity, timeliness and cost control of the work in that area. The Production Manager will also act as the liaison between all departments and support functions such as job planning, prep, maintenance and warehouse to help drive improvement(s) in total plant performance. Manage personnel to meet daily production expectations in a multi-process printing facility. Properly deploy resources following the production schedule. Recommend personnel or workflow changes as necessary to meet all delivery needs. Provide point of contact for area employees regarding personnel and administrative needs. Promote CPCneutek culture of collaboration, accountability, integrity and learning. Supporting operators to find or create efficiencies that increase productivity and quality. Support, train, and guide operators to maximize skills and competency.
