This independently minded, well-resourced clinic blends the variety of urgent care with the continuity of general practice, without overnights or on-call. Youll join a collaborative team that values clear communication, good humor, and high standards of care. The facility is purpose-built for efficient, modern medicine: digital full-body and dental radiography, ultrasound, IDEXX in-house lab, laser cautery for soft-tissue surgery, and cold laser therapy. Mornings are dedicated to soft-tissue procedures in a separate surgical suite, and Registered Veterinary Technicians handle dentistry (scale, polish, extractions) under your supervisionso you can practice at the top of your license. Caseload includes dogs, cats, and a mix of avian/exotics for those interested.Schedules are thoughtfully designed to protect worklife balance: daytime, some evening, and daytime-only weekend rotations; absolutely no overnights or on-call. The team can accommodate 34 shifts per week and will consider Full-Time or Part-Time. Mentorship and skills-development are available for earlier-career doctors, and theres a genuine path for those whod like to grow into leadership.Compensation is competitive with your choice of salaried or production-based structures. A substantial sign-on/relocation package is available, alongside strong medical benefits, CE support, license/dues coverage, and more.Key Highlights: GP + urgent care model with no overnights/no on-callDigital full-body & dental rads, ultrasound, IDEXX in-house labDedicated soft-tissue surgery block with laser cauteryRVTs perform all dentistry under DVM oversightAvian/exotic cases available (if desired)34 shifts/week; FT or PT consideredSupportive culture with clear communication and leadership pathwayAbout you: DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the USYou hold (or are eligible for) a licensure in CaliforniaComfortable managing a mix of scheduled and same-day casesCompetent with routine soft-tissue procedures (spay/neuter, mass removals)Collaborative, positive, and eager to grow (mentorship or leadership)Benefits: Choice of production-based or salaried comp, plus generous sign-on/relocation (up to $80k)Medical, dental, vision + practice-sponsored life insurance; 401(k) with employer matchCE stipend, PTO (including CE time), and structured development programsAVMA PLIT, state/DEA and professional dues reimbursedEAP, and excellent personal pet discountsNext StepsIf you are interested, hit "Apply" or for a confidential chat to find out more, simply email hello@ or call the office at (813) 393 1328
