What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead the Awareness & Education program to deliver security training and communications based on real-world incidents Coordinate the health systems vulnerability management process across hospitals and clinics Support cyber incident response activities, including investigations and recovery efforts Collaborate with various teams to ensure timely remediation of security vulnerabilities Provide mentorship and technical guidance to other cybersecurity staff
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelors degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or vulnerability management One or more relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, or GIAC GSEC Strong understanding of security policies, compliance, and regulatory requirements Ability to communicate effectively and deliver customer service with professionalism
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Masters degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline Industry certifications such as GCIH, GCIA, CISSP, or CEH Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries, with knowledge of HIPAA Security Rule Familiarity with cloud and hybrid environments, including Azure and Microsoft 365 security capabilities Previous experience in delivering cybersecurity awareness and education programs
