SQL Server Database Administrator
Location: Trenton, NJ (Hybrid Remote) Duration: 12+ months Client: Taproot Solutions (Mid-Level SQL Server Migration DBA) We are seeking a Mid-Level SQL Server DBA to support planning, execution, and validation of database migrations across multiple versions and hybrid platforms. Key Responsibilities Assist with the assessment and documentation of existing SQL Server environments. Support database migration efforts including backup/restore, scripting, data transfers, and validation. Perform routine health checks and troubleshooting during and after migrations. Collaborate with senior DBAs, infrastructure, and application teams. Execute test migrations and contribute to performance tuning and optimization. Ensure data integrity, security, and minimal application impact throughout the process. Maintain high availability, disaster recovery, and security compliance throughout the migration process. Maintain documentation and support incident resolution post-migration.
