Are you passionate about healthcare interoperability and data exchange? Robert Half Talent Solutions is seeking a skilled HL7 Developer to join a dynamic team focused on transforming how healthcare systems communicate. This is a contract opportunity to work on impactful projects that improve patient care and streamline clinical workflows. What You'll Do Design, develop, and maintain HL7 interfaces for seamless data exchange between healthcare systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical, IT, and integration specialists Analyze and troubleshoot HL7 messages (ADT, ORM, ORU, etc.) Implement and support interface engines (e.g., Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf) Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare data standards Document interface specifications and provide technical support during implementation Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of HL7 solutions Requirements 3+ years of experience in HL7 development and integration Proficiency with HL7 v2.x, and familiarity with FHIR is a plus Experience with interface engines (Mirth, Rhapsody, etc.) Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and EMR/EHR systems Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.
