full-time contract and hybrid onsite in Trenton, NJ. Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain HL7 v2 and FHIR-based integration pipelines Implement and support RESTful FHIR APIs for internal and external use Enable bi-directional data exchange with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment and monitoring of integrations Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and security protocols (e.g., HIPAA) Requirements

3+ years of software development experience (Python preferred). 2+ years working with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR and HL7 v2) Strong experience with Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, or Django) Proficient in RESTful API development and integration Experience parsing and generating JSON, XML, HL7 v2 messages Database skills: SQL (PostgreSQL/Oracle) Familiarity with healthcare vocabularies: SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10 Hands-on experience with integration tools (e.g., Rhapsody) Excellent verbal and written communication Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking Physical Demands
